About Kevin Wilson Law

I’m Kevin Wilson, an attorney based in Louisville, Kentucky, and a proud Marine. I’ve served on both active duty and in the reserves since enlisting in 2004 and later commissioning as an officer in 2008. Like many of you, I’ve juggled the demands of military service with a civilian career—and I’ve felt the sting of employers who don’t fully respect or understand that commitment.

That’s why I focus my legal practice on representing members of the Guard and Reserve in employment discrimination cases involving the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). This isn’t just a legal issue to me—it’s personal. I know what it’s like to face bias or lose opportunities because of your military service, and I’ve built my career on helping service members stand up for their rights.

Since becoming a member of the Kentucky Bar in 2015, I’ve represented clients in both state and federal courts, with a focus on civil litigation, employment law, and administrative proceedings. My experience includes defending and prosecuting claims, drafting contracts, and advising small businesses. I also take on pro bono work through the Louisville Legal Aid Society to help veterans expunge non-violent convictions and reclaim control of their futures.

My practice today is centered on service members who’ve been denied promotions, wrongfully terminated, refused reemployment, or had their benefits affected because of their military obligations.
